Okay, I know all about ceramic and I’m a pro at tourmaline. However, I’m still learning about porcelain and titanium, but I think I understand what they do. As soon as I feel like I have a handle on all the different materials and what benefits they offer my hair, I come across another option that sends me spinning again. This time it’s a pearl hair dryer!
Obviously I know what pearls are, but I don’t know what they do in this instance, well, at least I didn’t. The Remington Ac2015 Tstudio Salon Collection Pearl Ceramic Hair Dryer harnesses the benefits of pearl to give you a super sleek style. So what does that mean? We’re about to find out together.
Not Quite Diamond, But Pearl Is Almost As Good
The covering on the grill of this blow dryer is infused with crushed pearls. Apparently Pearl has micro conditioners that stay dormant until they are activated by heat. Once heated, they are applied to your hair (via the air that comes through the grill), and help you achieve the smooth look you’re going for by literally conditioning your hair with heat. That’s pretty cool huh?
Speed With Pearls
The Ac2015 not only has the ability to make your hair smoother, Remington says it also has 40% more speed than many other dryers. This means you’re out of the house faster, and you don’t have to worry about the frizzies.
Beyond just the ability to heat and dry quickly this blower has extra tools so you get the control you need. The diffuser (included) is great for curling or use the concentrator to get a sleek style.
Ionics and Pearls – The Perfect Match
So I’ve already explained how pearls factor into the technology used with this hair dryer, but the manufacturer didn’t stop there. They have also included ions (positive ions) which are well known for keeping your hair free from frizz. Together with crushed pearls and (how could I forget) ceramic technology these all work to give a soft, sleek and healthy shine to you hair.
Pearls are the New Diamonds
I have spent most of my review centering on the technology included with this dryer, but you should also know it comes with three heat settings and two speeds. Plus, it looks pretty snazzy too! At a price of just over $30 I don’t think you can go wrong by giving this model a try. After all, I’m not the only person who has had her head turned by it!
