All Hair Dryer Reviews

Sedu Revolution Pro

This particular blower manages to get hot enough to dry quickly but it doesn’t get too hot. Don’t ask me how, but it manages to deliver the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. This means hair dries fast but you don’t suffer crispy ends.

Revlon RV473

While the Revlon RV473 itself produces more than enough heat, there is also a turbo button that allows you to give your hair a drying boost just to finish off. This also helps if you’re in a hurry or you just don’t want to stand in the bathroom any longer.

Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium

If you have long, thick hair like mine I don’t think you’ll go far wrong by taking a closer look at this model. It packs a massive 2000 watts of power, so it cuts down the amount of time it takes to dry hair in half (at least)!

Hot Tools Tourmaline 1059

The most enticing thing about the Hot Tools 1059 is it dries hair in half the time. Half the time would mean almost no time for me, and I’m always in a rush. If I could dry quickly without having to actively do anything with my hands it’s totally worth the money.

Remington Ac9096 Silk

The grill on this hair dryer is coated in silk proteins that are infused into the air from the blower, and in combination with ionic technology it helps create a head of hair that’s sleek and smooth. The silk materials go on top of a more traditional ceramic plate or grill, and by working together they help get your style under control.

BaByliss Pro Ceramix Xtreme

Instead of just being plastic, the BabylissPro Ceramix Xtreme is covered in a rubberized coating that makes it easier to hold on to. I’m as clumsy as it gets, so anything that will help me grip the item I’m using is a plus in my book especially when it’s hot.

T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i

The T3 Luxe 2i has the ionic technology my hair needs in order to stay flat after I get the right amount of air into it. It gives off a super powerful burst of ions when you turn it on, and that means my really thick hair will get what it needs to stay thick, but also not go crazy once it’s dry

Conair 1875 Tourmaline

I think every blower I’ve ever owned has had speed settings, but I haven’t owned one nice enough to include heat settings. I have however burned my mother’s scalp by not moving the dryer fast enough, so I can understand they’re more than a little necessary.

Salon Sundry

Unlike a lot of older style bonnet dryers you have plenty of options open to you with respect to the heat level. It didn’t occur to me these would have different settings, but it makes sense they do. I know my blow dryers have different controls on them, so why wouldn’t this too?

Panasonic Nano-e

I have never found a hair dryer that leaves my hair as straight as my flat irons do. I know that’s because they serve different purposes, but I would really like to reduce down to one tool for everything. This blow dryer is great for getting your hair dry and under control. It also SMOOTHS.

Pibbs Kwik Dri

The Pibbs 514 Kwik Dri Dryer is a home product that gives you the same power as the ones you get at the salon. The unit isn’t as large, and it comes on a stand rather than sitting on a chair base, but it’s still a usable tool that can make hair styling less labor intensive.

Rusk Speed Freak

People with even the thickest hair can get it dry much faster by working with the Speed Freak. In that way, it has really earned it’s name. Curly, frizzy, big hair is able to get under control in record time by working with the speed on this bad boy.

Turbo Power 3200

This blower has a device in it that stops it from overheating. This means that whatever level you set the blow dryer on, it won’t get above the temperature you’ve set. With as many options as it has for temperature the fail safe is probably a good idea.

Infiniti Pro 3-in-1

The attachment is why it’s called a 3-in-1 hair dryer because the piece dries, straightens and adds shine. You go straight from wet hair into using the dryer and run your hair through the comb while getting the style you want. This is pretty much everything I have been looking for in the world of hair tools.

Elchim Healthy Ionic

Too much noise does not fare well in my world. I used to work in a massive store where the music was blasting 24/7, and since then I’ve learned to appreciate quiet time. I’ve never had a hair dryer that has been anything short of overwhelmingly loud, so the idea of one that isn’t sounds great to me. This dryer does just that.

BaByliss Pro Portofino 6600

The Portofino 6600 has a long-lasting motor that won’t die after a short amount of time. That’s enticing because I don’t want to invest big money in a blow-dryer to have it do what my last one did. The motor is an Italian AC type (the quiet pro option!) that is supposed to last a long time. I’m listening Babyliss!

BaByliss Pro Carrera2 Porcelain

Turn it on. Move it around. Get dry hair. It’s actually that simple! I’m trying to wrap my head around the idea of a dryer that can get through hair quickly without frying it, so you end up with nothing but a big ball of frizz. Well, it sounds like that’s just what this one can do.

Conair Yb075w Yellow Bird

The Yellow bird is an inexpensive alternative, but it still has some of the perks that come along with many of the more expensive dryers on the market. For around $40 you get a powerful 1875 watt hair dryer with both a concentrator and straightening pick attachment.

Babyliss Pro 3000 BABTT5585

A technology that can make my hair dry faster is awesome in my book, as long as it doesn’t leave me with toasted strands after the fact. Well, the Babyliss Pro BABTT5585 Tourmaline Titanium 3000 Dryer does just that.

T3 Featherweight 2

The T3 Featherweight 2 Hair Dryer is the answer to my prayers. It has the ease of use most hair dryers have while being lighter than other models on the market that are similar. This means I would save a lot of stress on my limbs especially if it’s not only light, but dries faster as well.

Andis 80610 Bonnet Dryer

This bonnet does more or less the same thing as the fixed ones that come on poles, but it’s more portable. This means you get the drying power from it you also get from the fixed models, but you can sit on the couch and use it as opposed to being stuck at the table or in the bathroom.

Laila Ali LADR5603

I love the idea of a table top dryer that literally moves around me while I do something else. I could be writing emails or getting back to clients while I sit and have my hair done.

Conair Pro Styler Ionic

If you’re like me and tend to get super static-y hair when you blow dry too quickly, ions are a must. The Pro Styler has ionic technology that helps smooth out the frizzies, so it’s good for big and hard to control hair.

Andis RC-2 Ionic

The RC-2 can get ionic charge into your hair which combats frizz while working through your volume. If your hair is on the thinner side this probably isn’t the dryer for you but for people like me with thicker and unruly hair, it’s fantastic.

Babylisspro Titanium Travel Dryer

Not only is this dryer more compact than a lot of other models out there (it’s as small as a dollar bill!), it also folds up to make it even smaller. I don’t like to carry a lot with me when I travel because I’m small, and anything that keeps my travel burden down is my friend.

Remington Ac2015 Tstudio

The Ac2015 not only has the ability to make your hair smoother, it also has 40% more speed than many other dryers. This means you’re out of the house faster, and you don’t have to worry about the frizzies.

Revlon RV544PKF 1875W

I always like to have a good but almost disposable blow dryer so I can use it when I travel. I have used some terrible hair dryers in hotels, and my hair is so particular I never know what I’m going to get with the unknown variable of a hotel dryer.

Conair 1600W Wall Mount

Every now and then, I see a product that might actually help me get my life a little more organized. The Conair 1600 Watt Wall Mount Hair Dryer with LED Nightlight mounts on the wall like the hair dryers you find in hotels, and it keeps the cord off the counter. YAY!

Elchim 2001 HP

The Elchim 2001 HP is an award winning blow dryer. Several magazines have given it accolades for the amount of power it pumps out along with the speed with which it dries hair. Those are just two good things included, but the perks go further than that.

Rusk W8less

It’s going to be somewhat impossible to find a dyer that is silent, but one that doesn’t overwhelm you with noise is pretty nice. This one is said to hit the decibel level of a “purr”. The idea of dealing with something that sounds like a kitten is much more appealing to me.
