Light As A Feather Is Better For Cold Weather

It doesn’t get very cold where I live. In fact, it’s pretty nice all year long. That being said, last year we got a ridiculously cold snap, and as a result I had to blow dry my hair every day because there was no way I was walking out of the house with wet hair (the “ice queen” look really doesn’t suit me!).

Anyway, after a few weeks I realized my arm was hurting all of the time. I started dreading doing my hair even though I didn’t realize that had anything to do with it. Finally it warmed up, and I didn’t have to dry my hair as often to make sure I didn’t catch pneumonia. My arm got better, and it was all over.

What I did eventually realize is the weight of my hair dryer was making a huge difference. Since then I have been on the hunt for one that is lightweight with the right motor to get enough heat onto my thick hair. Luckily, I found the Babyliss Pro BABNT5548 Titanium Ionic Nano Hair Dryer which is super lightweight, and entirely manageable for people with chicken arms like me.

Small But Powerful

Even though it doesn’t weight that much, it is still power enough to dry my hair fast. This way I’m not stuck in front of the mirror for hours on end, and my arm doesn’t suffer as result.

It has a concentrator that makes a huge difference when I’m trying to get straightness into my hair. It snaps onto the end and makes it easier to direct air flow. It doesn’t move around or fall off like a lot of other options I’ve had.

Love Your Curves

The super curved handle lets you hold the dryer in a variety of places and still get the right amount of control even though it’s so light weight. For small hands like mine, an ergonomic handle is important because I need a little extra help when keeping my hairdryer under control.

Versatility Does Exist

One of the features (or several of them) I like about this blow dryer is it has 6 speed settings, 6 heat settings and a button so you can get a cool shot of air if that’s what you’re after. I think this is great because it allows for more options with style, something many hairdryers in this price bracket don’t have.

Begging For Heat

If you have long, thick hair like mine I don’t think you’ll go far wrong by taking a closer look at this model. It packs a massive 2000 watts of power, so it cuts down the amount of time it takes to dry hair in half (at least)! Although if you have fine hair it will do just as well for you, just remember not to head straight for the highest heat setting.

Can You Handle It?

The weight of the dryer as well as the great handle makes it very enticing. Sure, I have come across a few negative comments but they really don’t appear to make a difference to the overall performance. You only have to take a look at what others have to say about this little beast of a dryer to know it really will save time when you’re drying your hair. For now, this one stays top on my short list.
If you’re like me and need something lightweight that will still be kind to your locks, this might be the one for you.
